Webinar mixed gas/vapor adsorption: Working with Vapors and Low Concentrations in Breakthrough Experiments

 

Many industrial adsorptive separation processes are dealing with vapors and/or adsorption of components with very low concentrations. Many ongoing phenomena can only be observed and quantified in gas flow experiments. For low concentrations, Co-adsorption effects become highly important. The measurement of breakthrough curves allows to see displacement phenomena and to evaluate the technically usable sorption capacity under process-near conditions. The adsorption of water and organic vapors, as well as vapor mixtures and also the removal of CO2 from air have been investigated with the dynaSorb BT among other examples.
